Why Able Concrete Raising?

Mud jacking in MN & WI

We focus on what we do best.  Other companies might do a variety of concrete work, including some occasional mud jacking.  Able Concrete Raising is in the business of mud jacking; that is what we do, and we make sure we do it well.

Mudjacking is Environmentally friendly

Our all-natural product is a mixture of recycled rock and sand that will not damage surrounding landscaping.  By raising settled concrete rather than replacing it, we create less waste.

Affordable Concrete Lifting

With our three year warranty, mud jacking can save you up to 75% of the cost of replacing your concrete.

Concrete Raising is Fast and Clean

Most projects can be walked on within a hour, with no waiting for concrete to dry.  There is very little, if any, impact on surrounding lawn and landscaping.  Each Job site is cleaned and pressure washed before we leave.

What is Concrete Raising?

What is Concrete Raising?

Concrete raising is often called ‘mudjacking’  or ‘concrete lifting’.  It is a safe and cost effective method of leveling misaligned concrete slabs.

How does it work?

At Able Concrete Raising, we drill one inch holes into the sunken slab or slabs of concrete to be raised.  These holes are about the size of a quarter and are the smallest holes used in the industry.

We then pump a slurry mixture of concrete and recycled sand into the hole. This mixture fills the void under the sunken slab, displacing air pockets, water, and the building pressure lifts the slabs to their original grade.

The holes are then patched with cement and the slab is ready for use. The process of raising concrete with concrete results in a repair that is impervious to water and therefore a permanent fix.
