Do you have a concrete garage or driveway? Are you an owner of a warehouse with a concrete floor? Many times, when you have concrete, there is a good chance that your concrete will settle and become uneven. Although some people may think that the first step to solve the issue is to replace your concrete. This is not the case. Concrete Raising is a great fix for resolving concrete issues, and we can fix small slabs or huge slabs.
So what is concrete raising and how does it work?
Concrete raising is often referred to as “mudjacking” or concrete lifting. It is a safe and cost effective way to level of misaligned concrete slabs no matter what the size. Concrete raising is done by drilling one inch holes into the sunken slab or slabs of concrete. After you drill the holes you use a slurry mixture that consists of concrete and sand, and pour it into the holes we drill. This mixture fills the void under the sunken slab and therefore raises it to match the original grade. After, the holes are patched with cement and the slab is ready for use. The best part about this process is that you are able to walk on the concrete usually within a couple hours or less.
Concrete raising is not only cost effective, it also allows businesses to continue work that same day, or we can fix the concrete slabs at the end of the work day and you will be ready to work the next morning. So, why then would you decide to replace concrete when you can fix it?
